The XKS MOTORSPORT TRIM & UPHOLSTRERY SHOP is just up the road in ATASCADERO California, just south of PASO ROBLES, in the wine country of the California Central Coastal Range. The “shop” and its staff have decades of experience in constructing and installing high quality automobile interiors, specifically JAGUAR automobile interiors. Using original patterns, vat dyed leather hides, wool carpet, Hardura vinyl, and wool fabrics, the shop produces authentic interiors to original specifications.
The original stitching pattern, the correct number of pleats per seat; foam cushions formed to original contours; heat insulation installed; also, quality adhesives; rubber seals fitted correctly; doors and windows seals fit as specified; original carpet patterns and heel pads; seat frames repaired and refinished; quality tops sourced from Robbins Auto Tops; headliners using original materials and patterns; and many other details is the standard at the “shop”.
XKS MOTORSPORT has several Southern California resources for wood refinishing and re-veneering, repair of original engine gauges, tachometers, speedometers, and clocks. We try to reuse as much of the original hardware if serviceable as this contributes to the originality of the project. Most of the fastening hardware, handles, finishers, and latches are still available. The upholstery craftsman can create custom installations and interior upgrades to your specifications.
